Tele-therapy
During the COVID-19 pandemic clinic-based appointments are unavailable due to public health authority restrictions. Speech, language and voice therapy services will be delivered by web-based live video conferencing technology (specifically designed for speech and language therapy).
Online Services
Online therapy services offer the same benefits as traditional therapy, with the added convenience of being able to access the services direct from your home. Therapy is designed to be fun and engaging and will include a combination of digital speech and language therapy materials, digital speech therapy games and additional worksheets for practice between sessions.
This practice uses a fully integrated tele-therapy and practice management software package designed specifically for Speech and Language Therapists. It is HIPAA and GDPR compliant and includes video conferencing, whiteboard, interactive apps, and document sharing.
What you need for online therapy?
- Internet Access
- A desktop computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and built in microphone (headset with microphone can improve the quality)
- Set up should be in a comfortable, quiet space, with minimal distractions nearby (no siblings or pets)
- A parent/caregiver needs to be present and free during the sessions
- Set up your device well in advance of the session to avoid wasting time during your session
- Make sure your child is ready to start (snack/toileting/drink all completed before the session)
- Following confirmation booking, you will receive an email link to the session. A few minutes before your appointment time, click on this secure, authenticated link (doesn’t require log-in or a password) and check yourself into the online waiting room.
Tele-therapy Fees
Speech and Language Assessment (under 7 years)- €220
Speech and Language Assessment (over 7 years) - €300
Voice Assessment Consultation (Adult)- €150
Speech and Language Therapy (40 min session)- €60
Voice Therapy (40 min session)-€60
Formal Speech and Language Written Report- €100
Booking an Online-Therapy session:
Appointments can be booked either by phone, email or text. Payment for Tele-therapy sessions to be made over the phone or by bank transfer at the time of booking.
